I'll be moving my kids to another school district if they start cutting sports in Huntingdon... I want the best for my kids. A school without sports programs is a sad situation. If you want to save some money, then get rid of the satellite elementary schools that serve a handful of students, or merge with Juniata Valley... Besides several sports generate a lot of income for "the General Fund." Guess we need to start calling school board members, because their comments in the paper indicated that their pool decision was driven by phone calls...
